ONE SHOP, EVERY DISCIPLINE — WHY A HUB MATTERS
Most breakdowns don’t respect the boundaries between trades. A blown wheel seal turns into a brake job, a frame crack needs a welder, a no-start turns out to be a fuel-system problem two bays over from the brake lift. When a shop only does one thing, that means a second tow, a second invoice, and a truck that sits while it waits for the next vendor. Our Crosby facility runs diesel, semi, brake, trailer, and welding work under one roof, so the whole job stays with one crew and one point of contact.
That matters most when the truck arrives on our own wrecker. We’ve run towing and recovery out of Crosby since 2001, and the in-house shop is what lets us close the loop on the jobs we pull in — recover the rig off I-10, US-59, or the SH-225 corridor, bring it straight back to our 4-acre yard, and go to work without a second hand-off. Recovery and repair land on one ticket. Walk-in service is available too, whether or not you came in behind our truck.
DIESEL REPAIR — POWER STROKE TO CLASS 8
Our diesel shop covers the full size range, from Power Stroke, Cummins, and Duramax pickups up to full Class 8 tractors. That means preventive maintenance, major engine repair, fuel-system and injector work, turbocharger service, and DPF, EGR, and DEF emissions work, all kept compliant and focused on getting the system running correctly. The same overhead crane we use for heavy-truck engine pulls works for medium-duty and pickup jobs, so we get in and out faster than shops wrenching under the hood.
See the full diesel breakdown on our diesel repair page.
SEMI TRUCK REPAIR — TOW AND FIX UNDER ONE ROOF
When a Class 8 rig goes down, you don’t want a tow to one shop and a repair at another. We recover the truck, drop it in our enclosed Crosby shop, and get it road-ready without a second dispatch. The bay handles engine overhauls, transmission and clutch swaps, brake and air-system repair, frame and suspension work, and DOT-style safety checks, with the indoor overhead crane doing the heavy lifting that other shops sublet or turn away.
For the heaviest jobs we run a 35-ton heavy wrecker and 50- and 75-ton rotators, so the equipment that brings a rig in is matched to the crane that takes it apart. Full details on our semi truck repair page.
BRAKE REPAIR — AIR, HYDRAULIC & ABS
Brakes are the most critical system on a heavy rig and a top DOT out-of-service item. We service commercial air-brake systems on tractors and trailers, including foundation brakes, shoes and drums, slack adjusters, S-cams, chambers, lines, and valves, plus hydraulic brakes on medium-duty and pickup platforms and ABS diagnostics for systems throwing codes. We write up DOT brake inspections on paper when you need them.
Because the diesel work is right next door, you can schedule brakes and engine service in one visit. See our brake repair page.
TRAILER REPAIR — FLATBEDS TO REEFERS
A trailer in the shop is revenue sitting still, so we turn them around fast using the same overhead crane and welding bay we use for tractor work. We handle flatbeds, dump trailers, reefers, dry vans, lowboys, and specialty trailers: landing gear and suspension, brake and air-system repair, lights, wiring, and ABS, plus structural welding when a rail or cross-member gives out.
If your trailer comes in on our wrecker, recovery and repair are one ticket. More on our trailer repair page.
WELDING & FABRICATION — METAL CAPABILITY IN-HOUSE
A real working shop needs metal capability, not a referral to a welder down the road. Our welding bay runs MIG, stick, and arc processes for carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless applications where certified: structural trailer repair, frame patches and rail work, custom brackets and hitches, and one-off parts built to spec when an off-the-shelf piece can’t be had in time. If a trailer rail cracks on an I-10 shoulder, we can weld it on-site or bring it in.
That same fabrication capability backs up the towing side with custom rigging and repaired equipment. See our welding & fabrication page.
OUR 4-ACRE CROSBY FACILITY & OVERHEAD CRANE
Everything runs out of our own 4-acre secured facility at 4338 Harvey Rd in Crosby: an enclosed shop with an indoor overhead crane, a welding bay, and diagnostic equipment for both commercial trucks and diesel pickups. The crane is the differentiator most truck-repair operations in the Houston area simply don’t have: it lets us pull and set engines, lift transmissions and rear ends, and handle heavy castings indoors, on a hard surface, out of the weather.
Working under a roof on a hard floor instead of improvising in a parking lot is the difference between a clean job and a rushed one. It’s also why the big component work other shops turn away is routine in-house work for us, and why a rig recovered on our 50- or 75-ton rotator can go from the highway to the shop floor under one roof and one crew.
FLEET ACCOUNTS, NET-30 & SHIP CHANNEL ACCESS
Fleets and commercial operators run on uptime, so fleet accounts get priority scheduling and net-30 billing on file. One vendor handles the call from the breakdown through the recovery, the diagnosis, the repair, and the invoice, with a real dispatcher answering 24/7/365, not a call center. We work with fleet managers and safety officers along the Houston Ship Channel and the SH-225 corridor, and our operators are TWIC certified for gate access when a truck goes down inside a plant.
Owner-operators are just as welcome as contract fleets. Walk in, get a straight diagnosis, get a price before the work starts, and get back on the road. We take Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, cash, Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle.
