SEMI TRUCK REPAIR
On-site diesel shop with overhead crane — tow, repair, and get back on the road, one location.
TOW AND FIX UNDER ONE ROOF
When a Class 8 rig goes down, the last thing a fleet manager or owner-operator wants is a tow to one shop and a repair at another. At our 4-acre Crosby facility we do both — recover the truck, drop it in our enclosed shop, and get it road-ready without a second hand-off.
The shop is equipped with an indoor overhead crane for engine pulls, transmission swaps, and heavy component work. We weld, fabricate, and handle brake & air-system repairs in-house.
Fleet accounts get priority turnaround and net-30 billing. Walk-in owner-operators welcome.

TOW-AND-FIX: ONE TICKET, ONE LOCATION
Most breakdowns turn into two phone calls and two invoices — one for the wrecker, one for the shop — with the truck sitting in between, racking up downtime. We collapse that into a single workflow. The same company that hooks your rig off I-10, US-59, or the SH-225 corridor brings it straight back to our own 4-acre Crosby facility, drops it in the enclosed shop, and goes to work. No second dispatch, no waiting on a tow to a shop that can’t get to it for two days, no finger-pointing between vendors.
For a fleet manager that means one point of contact from the shoulder of the highway to the moment the truck rolls back out the gate, and one line item to reconcile. For an owner-operator stranded after hours it means the rig is already where it needs to be when the shop opens. We’ve run towing and recovery out of Crosby since 2001, and the in-house shop is what lets us close the loop on the jobs we pull in.
DIESEL ENGINE REPAIR & OVERHAUL
We diagnose and repair the heavy diesels that move freight — Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, and the rest — from no-start and hard-start complaints to coolant loss, oil pressure problems, turbo and EGR faults, injector and fuel-system work, and power or fuel-economy complaints. We pull codes, test the actual components, and tell you what the truck needs before the wrench turns, not after.
When an engine needs to come out for an in-frame or a full overhaul, our indoor overhead crane lifts it cleanly instead of fighting it with a floor jack and chains in the dirt. That means a controlled engine pull, a proper rebuild or replacement, and a reassembly that gets put back together right. Doing the heavy lifting under a roof, on a hard surface, with the crane overhead is the difference between a clean overhaul and a rushed one.
TRANSMISSION, CLUTCH & DRIVETRAIN
A slipping clutch, a transmission that won’t shift, a leaking rear end, or a vibration that gets worse with speed will park a truck fast. We service and replace heavy-duty clutches, manual and automated transmissions, driveshafts, U-joints, differentials, and axle assemblies. Transmission and clutch swaps are exactly the kind of heavy component work the overhead crane is built for — lifting a gearbox into place instead of wrestling it.
We chase down driveline vibrations and rear-end noise to the actual cause rather than throwing parts at it, and we set up the drivetrain so the repair holds under a loaded trailer. Whether it’s a clutch job on a day cab or a full transmission replacement on a sleeper, the rig goes back together to spec.
BRAKE & AIR-SYSTEM SERVICE
Brakes and the air system are where a truck’s safety lives, and they’re a top DOT out-of-service item. We service air-brake systems end to end — foundation brakes, shoes and drums, slack adjusters, S-cams, chambers, air lines, the compressor, governor, dryer, and the valves that tie it all together. Dragging brakes, slow build-up, air leaks, a buzzing low-air warning, or an ABS fault all get tracked to the root cause.
A truck that can’t hold air or won’t release its brakes isn’t going anywhere, and it isn’t passing an inspection. We get the air system tight and the brakes adjusted so the rig stops the way it should and clears a roadside check — whether it rolled in on its own or came in on the back of our wrecker.
FRAME, SUSPENSION & STEERING
Hard miles, potholes, and the occasional curb or ditch take a toll on the frame and the suspension. We repair and reinforce truck and trailer frames, replace and rebuild leaf and air suspensions, swap airbags and shocks, service kingpins and steering components, and correct ride-height and tracking problems. After a winch-out or a recovery, frame and suspension damage is common — and because we towed the rig in, we already know what it went through.
Frame work is where the in-house welding and the overhead crane earn their keep: we can support and align heavy sections, weld in the repair, and put the running gear back under the truck on a hard floor instead of improvising in a parking lot.
IN-HOUSE WELDING & FABRICATION
A working shop needs metal capability, not a referral to a welder down the road. We weld and fabricate in-house — frame repairs, cross-members, bumpers and brackets, fifth-wheel and mounting plates, deck and bed work, exhaust and tubing, and custom parts when an off-the-shelf piece doesn’t exist or can’t be had in time. Having the torch and the welder on-site means a cracked mount or a broken bracket gets fixed today instead of becoming a week-long parts hunt.
That fabrication capability is also what backs up the towing side: custom rigging, repaired equipment, and one-off fixes that keep a recovery moving. The same metal skills that build a bracket repair a frame.
OVERHEAD-CRANE COMPONENT WORK
The enclosed shop’s overhead crane is the differentiator most truck-repair operations in the Houston area simply don’t have. It lets us pull and set engines, lift transmissions and rear ends, handle heavy castings, and move bulky components safely and precisely — indoors, on a hard surface, out of the weather. That changes what’s possible: the big jobs other shops sublet or turn away are in-house work for us.
For the heaviest recoveries and component lifts we run a 35-ton heavy wrecker and 50- and 75-ton rotators, so the equipment that brings a rig in is matched to the crane that takes it apart. Heavy lifting from the highway to the shop floor stays under one roof and one crew.
DOT INSPECTIONS, DPF & EMISSIONS SERVICE
A truck that’s down for repair is the right time to handle compliance. We perform DOT-style safety checks and address the items that put rigs out of service — brakes, tires, lights, steering, and air systems — so the truck leaves road-legal. On the emissions side we provide DPF service, cleaning, and diagnostics, plus aftertreatment and regen fault diagnosis, to keep the emissions system working the way it’s supposed to.
We keep emissions work compliant and focused on getting the system functioning correctly — diagnosing regen and aftertreatment faults, servicing the DPF, and clearing the underlying problem so the truck runs clean and passes inspection.
FLEET ACCOUNTS & NET-30 BILLING
Fleets and commercial operators run on uptime, so fleet accounts get priority scheduling and net-30 billing on file. One vendor handles the call from the breakdown through the recovery, the diagnosis, the repair, and the invoice. A real dispatcher answers 24/7/365, not a call center. We work with fleet managers and safety officers along the Houston Ship Channel and SH-225 corridor, and our operators are TWIC certified for gate access when a truck goes down inside a plant.
Owner-operators are just as welcome as contract fleets. Walk in, get a straight diagnosis, get a price before the work starts, and get back on the road. We take Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, cash, Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle.
