STATEWIDE HEAVY-DUTY & SEMI RECOVERY
When a loaded rig goes down anywhere in Texas, we bring the rotator to it. Corridor to corridor, around the clock.
WE RUN STATEWIDE FOR THE HEAVY JOBS
Light- and medium-duty towing is a local business. Heavy recovery is different. The equipment that uprights a loaded Class 8 or lifts an 80,000-lb rig travels, and so do we. When a tractor-trailer rolls hours from Houston, a fleet can’t afford to gamble on whichever unknown operator happens to be closest. We dispatch our heavy gear and our own operators to the scene, anywhere in Texas.
Behind a statewide call is real iron: 50- and 75-ton rotators, a 35-ton heavy wrecker, and a 40-ton NRC carrier that hauls dozers, forklifts, and shipping containers, recovery up to 80,000 lbs, with the rigging and the operators to use it. We’ve run heavy and commercial work out of our Crosby yard since 2001, we’re TWIC-certified for ports and plants, and a real dispatcher answers 24/7. Not a call center.
For day-to-day work we’re your local Crosby and greater-Houston operator. For the heavy, high-stakes recoveries that justify the drive, downed Class 8s, loaded rollovers, oversize freight on its side, we run the Texas freight corridors and bring the right wrecker to you.

WHY STATEWIDE HEAVY RECOVERY IS A DIFFERENT JOB
A dead sedan needs a truck from down the street. A loaded Class 8 on its side needs a rotator, a rigging plan, and an operator who has done it before, and there are far fewer of those than there are tow trucks. That’s why heavy recovery is worth dispatching across distance: the bottleneck isn’t how close a truck is, it’s whether the right equipment and the right hands show up at all.
When you call us for a heavy job out of town, you get the same crew and the same gear that handle the toughest recoveries around Houston, routed to wherever the rig went down, with a straight ETA and a quote up front so there’s no surprise at the scene.
THE FLEET BEHIND A STATEWIDE CALL
Statewide heavy recovery is only as good as the iron behind it. We run 50- and 75-ton rotators for loaded rollovers and tight-quarters lifts, a 35-ton heavy wrecker, and a 40-ton NRC carrier that hauls dozers, forklifts, and shipping containers, plus flatbeds and full recovery rigging. That covers anything from a stranded box truck to an 80,000-lb Class 8 recovery, without subcontracting the hard part to someone else.
Just as important is what comes with the equipment: operators who read the angle and the terrain before the boom comes up, the insurance and TWIC credentials that get us through a gate, and the experience to clear a live lane without turning one incident into two.
THE TEXAS FREIGHT CORRIDORS WE RUN
Texas freight moves on a handful of arteries, and so do the breakdowns. We run heavy recovery along I-10 (El Paso–Houston–Beaumont), I-45 (Dallas–Houston–Galveston), I-69 / US-59 (the corridor up from the Rio Grande Valley), I-35 (Laredo–San Antonio–Austin–DFW), and I-20 across the north. These are where loaded tractor-trailers, oversize loads, and tankers run hardest, and where a rollover or a blown-out rig shuts down a lane until the right wrecker arrives.
Our base on the east side of greater Houston puts us on the I-10 and I-69 corridors fast, and within reach of the rest of the state for the recoveries that justify the run. Tell us the highway and the mile marker and we’ll tell you what we can have rolling.
LOADED ROLLOVERS, OVERSIZE LOADS & LOAD SHIFTS
The recoveries that strand a fleet are the ones smaller operators can’t touch: a loaded trailer on its side, an oversize load that left the road, cargo that shifted and can no longer ride. We upright the rig with a rotator and a rigging plan matched to the weight and the angle, then re-secure or transfer the load onto a sound trailer so it moves once, cleanly, instead of being dragged or double-handled.
Where product or hazmat is involved, we stage the recovery around your responders and the on-scene authorities so it doesn’t compound the incident. The goal is always the same: clear the lane, protect the cargo, and get the unit to your shop or yard intact.
FLEETS & OWNER-OPERATORS: ONE NUMBER STATEWIDE
If you move freight through Texas, the worst time to find a heavy-recovery provider is at 2 a.m. with a loaded trailer blocking a lane. Set it up ahead of time instead: we run Net-30 fleet and owner-operator accounts with PO-matched invoicing and a dedicated dispatch line, so a unit going down out of town is one call to a number that already knows your account, not a scramble for an unknown operator.
One truck or a hundred, the setup is the same: on file, priority when you call, and the same straight pricing whether the recovery is in Crosby or three hundred miles away.
LOCAL FOR THE LIGHT STUFF, STATEWIDE FOR THE HEAVY
This page is about the heavy, long-distance recoveries that travel. For day-to-day light- and medium-duty towing, a breakdown, a lockout, a private-property tow, we’re a local Crosby and greater-Houston operator, and our Houston heavy-duty towing page covers the metro recoveries closer to home.
It’s one company and one dispatcher either way. The difference is just distance and scale: we don’t send a heavy rotator across the state for a flat tire, and we don’t hand off a loaded rollover to a stranger because it’s far from base.
WHEN YOUR RIG IS DOWN OUT OF TOWN
If you’re a driver or a fleet manager with a unit down on a Texas interstate: get everyone to safety behind the barrier, get the hazards and triangles out, and note your highway, direction, and nearest mile marker or exit. Our step-by-step playbook for a big rig down on a Texas interstate walks through it. Then call. A real dispatcher takes the details, tells you what we can have rolling and when, and quotes the job up front.
We coordinate with DPS, the toll authorities, and on-scene responders as needed, and we keep you updated on the ETA. Family-owned since 2001, TWIC-certified, and dispatched 24/7/365 from our 4-acre Crosby facility.
